We're playing Vampire 5th edition! The vampires of New Orleans are in dire straits, as the Second Inquisition closes in on the city and the Camarilla and Anarchs move against each other; the city is on the brink of war, and a group of fledglings is being thrown right into the fire.
Stories carry power; the story of David and Goliath inspires the little guy to challenge the stronger, larger guy on the off chance they might actually win, while the story of Sleeping Beauty teaches us the perils of not inviting witches to the births of our children. In City of Mist, the players are the stories, brought to life; called Rifts, they can do amazing, mind-blowing things, though the mortals of the city refuse to recognize these wonders. Enter Olivia, Zoe, Oggie, and Duke, who are all Rifts, very unhappy with their lives, and incredibly drunk. What wonders will they bring into the world? Probably nothing good, to be honest.
In the world of Dragonia, only dragons exist! From the lowest raw scaled drakes, to the highest of elder dragons, all of Dragonia works together to understand the world, grow, and learn, usually by sending out young drakes on errands. But even the strongest of dragons must mind themselves, lest they fall into Darkness and doom Dragonia and all who live there.
This is the character creation for our Epyllion game, where everyone is dragons! Its super cute and charming!
We decide to forgo the pre-created setting that comes with 13th Age, and instead set about creating our own, using various icons from different 13th Age source books. This is pretty much just character creation stuff, so you can skip this if you don't want to hear us talk about icons and stuff.

The gods are not dead, despite what some mortals claim; no, they're very much alive and kicking in the modern world. Of course, being a god isn't a full time gig anymore, so the gods of today are forced to work part-time, with one foot in the divine and the other in the mundane, balancing their humanity and divinity in an effort to keep themselves centered and rational.
The Knights of Columbus, just one of the many pantheons of modern day gods in the city, are a rag-tag band of individuals; a Goddess of Knowledge rubs shoulders with the God of the Audience, while the Gods of Locks and Taxonomy make deals with the Goddess of the Hunt to protect their territory against other local gods. So far, they've only had to deal with the relatively mundane aspects of godhood, but something under Columbus is awakening, and its none too happy; will the Knights rise to the challenge, or will they fall?
Change is coming to Vancouver's magical underground, and it starts here! This is character creation for Pen & Paper Bullshit's next campaign, run by long time player Viscardus! With Dijon Du Jour as Henrietta Woodsley, Frank West as Tal Aria, Julia as Alex McCoy, and introducing Brutus Salad as Greg Dowell! This episode is extra long, with extra jokes, and extra character creation. You've been warned!
The town of Devil's Lake, North Dakota is facing a dire epidemic: a shortage of mall Santas. Thankfully, the magickal cabal known as Hell's Elves is on the case; they're pretty sure someone's feeding the Santas to the giant ball of twine that's the pride of Devil's Lake and the cornerstone of the town's all important tourism. They simply have to find out who's doing it, why they're doing it, and figure out how to stop them!
Neo Haven is both a city of hope and corruption, full of both heroes and villains; the mayor is corrupt, the several Italian restaurants in the city are run by a crime syndicate, and there's a very serious pigeon/seagull war going on in the shadows. But, thanks to the people and heroes of Cerebus, Neo Haven stands proud and protected, thanks to the likes of Honorable Lady Has A Dragon and some sort of psychic cat. Oh also Julia's not GMing this one!
The kobolds of Temperance are rude, crude, and have terrible attitudes, but its honestly not their fault! You'd be in a bad mood all the time if you were surrounded by awful jerks who want your land, tears, and spines! Kobold are the greatest! The kobolds of Temperance are even greater then normal kobolds! They're the greaterest! The champions of Temperance will boldly go where no kobold has gone before: outside of the village!
London is an old, old city, dating all the way back to the days of Rome and, perhaps unsurprisingly, its full of old, old magic. Besides housing the headquarters of the wizard Council of St Albans, it also bosts the Under Parliament, which governs the affairs of the White and Red vampires of Britain; hell, the Seelie and Unseelie fairy courts both have representation in the bustling metropolis, their efforts bankrolled by the children of a Persian dragon.
But London isn't just an old city, but also one of new ideas and innovations; it's home of the club Mirror, Mirror, which is recognized as neutral grounds for all supernatural parties, as well as home of the Free Court of London, a fairy court that recognizes no authority but it's own. In the abandoned graveyards, the Black vampires hide and organize under the self styled High King of the Rippers, striking terror into the hearts of those who know what danger lurks in the dark.
Atop all this sits the mundane world, which does its best to ignore the supernatural beings that inhabit it, but, when that can't be helped, the Special Tactics Occult Group is only a call away, ready to bring order and mundanity with them.
This, then, is London, both mythic and mundane, old and new. And everything's about to start falling down.
NOTE: While we use the rules provided by the Dresden Files RPG, we have made the conscious choice to not set the game within the Dresdenverse, mostly because no one but the GM has read the books.
