After their stop at Aatsa and their defiance of the Ebon Gauntlet, the caravan continues its slow journey towards the dwarven capital of Forge. By chance, they stop near a grove of trees along the side of the road; this grove is known to bring luck to any who stop and rest by it, and considering their growing list of enemies, any luck they can give themselves on their quest is well worth it. But, if there's no rest for the wicked, then that goes doubly so for the saintly, as Hammer is forced to confront his faith and learn of his mysterious god. An old foe from Ereinhaudh makes their presence known, as friendships are tested.
