The party finally takes a rest, following their adventures in the Labyrinth; Teus investigates his curse, Blaze has a child, Dawn has a chat with herself, and Hugh tends his garden. Then, we play a little bit of Zork as the players attempt to use the Labyrinth's weird nature to their advantage.
The king of the Colymar tribe, Kangharl, marches on Black Stag Vale, brining an army of Sartarites against the Haraborn for the crimes of tax evasion, breaking the Lunar Peace, and treason against the king. He brings with him the promise of the total destruction of the Haraborn by destroying their wyter, the spirit of their clan and community; should the Black Stag be killed, the Haraborn as a people will never exist again. Thankfully, the Heroes of the Haraborn are there to protect their chosen clan. The prologue of Now Comes the Fire reaches its climactic end!
Note: There was a slight recording issue, at about 45 minutes; we've fixed it as best we can!
Following their confrontation with the Spirit King, the group seeks refuge at the town of Memamurun. But what should be a safe place to rest turns out to be something else entirely, as the whole area succumbs to a strange blizzard.
As Sacred Time begins with the threat of a Lunar backed army invading Black Stag Vale loom large in the minds of every member of the clan, the adventurers plan an ambitious (and very slightly insane) set of HeroQuests looking to empower the Haraborn for the coming battle, as well as expand their budding cult. But can they merge the two completely different, but strangely similar, HeroQuests and take the first steps in creating a new mythology?
The adventurers continue to explore the Eye That Opens And Closes, an ancient EWF place of worship, all at the request of Kallyr Starbrow, who is on a quest that promises to free Sartar from the Lunars once and for all. Of course, nothing is that simple as things become complicated by the nature of the temple and the draconic Way of Right Thought.
The party rings in the New Year with a fight! They find themselves pitted against an eidolon known as the Great Guardian, who has some sort of reality warping ability; will they survive its onslaught or be forced to retreat and give up on discovering the secrets of the Labyrinth? Also, Blaze decides to do the funniest thing possible.
The cabal, fresh from their jaunt through the world's collective imagination, discover that Roberto's live in intern, Cam, has disappeared following her investigation into the origins of magikoin. Since its extremely likely Clem defected to this secret crypto conspiracy, the cabal makes finding her their number one priority. Soon, Kimcent will rise.
The party begins its search for the White Marble Hall, in an attempt to figure out the mysterious origins of the Labyrinth; their search starts in Hugh's hometown of Rynthius, which hosts a year round carnival dedicated to the town's mysterious origins and past.
